Description

Oberländer (Rhine) river boat has flat bottom keel (four planks) with lashed boards consisting of two halfs of a dugout tree. The tradition is very old and comes from the dugout boat tradition.
These boats were used for fishing and transport on calmer bodies of water.
Length: 5.90 m.
Wide: 2.00 m.
